Parks Victoria
The Parks Victoria Website highlights many aspects of the Natural Environment. In particular, it highlights many of the national parks within Victoria and Indigenous significant sites.
One such location is BUDJ BIM NATIONAL PARK. The Heritage Landscape area is considered one of Victoria’s earliest and largest Indigenous aquaculture ventures, and has recently been added to the UNESCO World Heritage List recognised solely for its Aboriginal cultural values.

THE BOORONG NIGHT SKY:
JOHN MORIESON AND ALEX CHERNEY
'Boorong Constellations' belong to the astronomical traditions of the Boorong people, who lived in north-west Victoria. The Boorong clan was a member of the Wergaia speaking peoples; their descendants live in north-west Victoria and throughout Victoria. Our knowledge of the Boorong astronomical traditions comes largely through the writing of William Stanbridge, a pastoralist who came to Victoria from England in 1841.
John and Alex's story discusses the significance of the night sky to the Boorong people and further enhances Australia's Indigenous Peoples connection with the land, sea and sky.
Museums Victoria also published a range of resources and activities based on Indigenous Astronomy which may provide you with a better imagery via the link below.
To be acknowledged as completing this task you need to explore the information provided and complete a 3, 2, 1 Reflection task including - 3 things you learnt, 2 'constellations' you looked for in the night sky, and 1 question this task has raised for you via a word/pages document on the Microsoft Form.

DREAMY.
Dreamy is a collection of sleep stories created by First Nations storytellers.
These contemporary stories bring an 80,000-year-old oral tradition into the digital space, helping people of all walks of life to quiet their minds, drift into dream, and disconnect from their devices by connecting to Country.
Sleep matters... But our worries often feel loudest when the world around us is quiet. Scrolling through social media is an easy distraction, but the further we scroll, the further we get from a restful night’s sleep.
Thankfully, sleep stories can help to reduce screen time and unhook our minds from the what ifs and the if onlys.
To be acknowledged as completing this task you need to explore one of the sleep stories and then complete the reflection task linked below.
